I just tried these and they are smooth, soft, yet surprisingly firm. The sizes are perfect for me. With the smallest, I can use it easily, and with the middle it fits snugly. Although I cannot use the largest plug yet, I think with time I will be able to work my way up to it, which is what I bought this set for in the first place!
The texture is very smooth! Beginners will appreciate the three sizes that were provided. It can be hard to insert them without some lubricant because of their thickness.
